What I did ...

Let me tell you what I did. A lot of mates have been asking what I did during CNY. I bet you all assumed that I had a wonderful celebration. You are very wrong. Wrong Wrong Wrong and Wrong. One thing that is fun is that I celebrate 32 hours of CNY a day it means eight hours extra.

Chinese New year Eve

When you guys in Malaysia are celebrating the first day of CNY, I am still celebrating my CNY Eve. It is kind of weird but it doesn’t matter. I did nothing on CNY Eve, just hang around at home chilling with mates.

At 4pm (Msia time is 12am 26/01/09), my brother did something very evil to me. He on the webcam and showed me a bowl of vegetarian which is my favorites. I was like you are a sick and evil and meannie kid. Hahaha. He started laughing and eats in front of me. I said it’s alright. It is kind for him to remind me that “Jie, remember don’t wash your hair tomorrow.” I said yes. Then he starts showing me all the goodies and snacks. I feel so jealous. So I said that I will be going to casino later.

Chu 1 (26/01/09)

At 12.30am, I went to casino with Stanley, Alex, Zac and Gan. We had free buffet. I had salmon and prawns. Gambled a few rounds.

When I went home it was about half three am. In Malaysia is 11.30am. So I talked to my cousin sister. Then most of my aunty and uncle went to my house. It was kind of different this year because I wished them through webcam. Thank god smart people created webcam and there is such thing as video call. Everyone start asking me about my life here. I took the opportunity to ask about my angpau. I did manage to ask for ang pau.

For the rest of the days, I just stayed at home to do my assignments. There is no celebration here.

As per Zeehui, “This is a special year because you will postpone your cny to march”. This is really brilliant and it was something extraordinary as compared to other sms. Others TEXT “ This is a special year for you because this is the first time you are celebrating in uk”.

Anyway, thanks for all the messages and wishing and especially your concern. I really appreciate it.
