Craving for ….

Craving for ….

I was having instant noodles just now. Out of the blue, I started to plan what food should I eat when i get back to Malaysia:

1. Home cook food. Pa, I miss your cooking so much.

2. Soup. Grandma, I miss drinking the soup you boil especially groundnut soup.

3. Yong tau foo. Prepared by dad and the one in Madras Lane. I can’t make yong tau foo here because I can’t get the fish paste. Served with chee cheong fun

4. Nasi lemak. Nasi lemak Antarabangsa in Kampung Baru. The sotong cooked with the sambal and ayam goreng. Nasi lemak tradisional near my house. The sambal and long beans with loads of kacang and ikan bilis.

5. Assam Laksa from the stall in pasar malam.

6. The char koay teow with fishball soup in old klang road

7. The cold tau foo fa in OUG.

8. The fish head curry in Sentul

9. The roasted duck in Section 17 PJ

10. Roti canai in Sri Neelas

11. Seafood especially fish and prawns.

12. Steamboat at my uncle’s place. The soup and fried chicken wings. The sui kao.

I feel so horrible eating instant noodles. I wished I could get all the ingredients and can start cooking. I still cook Chinese food. I cook fried rice, chicken friend with potatoes, tomyam and bak kut teh. I managed to boil groundnut soup with drumstick and red dates.

How long do I need to wait to eat all food? Still waiting and counting each day.
