Wake up Time...

I have been discussing about relationships with a lot of people this few days. Some are very lucky, some are still waiting, some are still judging, some are still upset. What is love driving everyone mad? I cannot imagine if one can survive without love. It doesn’t matter whether it is family love or boyfriend and girlfriend love or pet’s love. As long there is bond and affectionate, then it is love.

Will you ever find a partner who will meet all your requirements? Actually it is not just your requirements and also your parents’ requirement. Someone told me that it doesn’t matter whether your parents like it or not because they are not the one who is going to live with your partner. As long as you like the guy and he is nice to you then other things doesn’t really matter.

I was watching a series today and one sentence that caught my attention was “Sometimes the only thing left to do is wrap around each other for one last time and just let go”. It is true when you know there is no hope in the relationship again. What is the point of forcing yourself to like the person when you know there is no hope at all? When is time to let go, just let go. It is easy to say but when you are in the situation, you will realize that it is not easy to do. You need a lot of courage, will, determination, guts and self esteem.

I wonder when I will realize my stupid doings and get life moving rather than just sitting down like an idiot waiting for something that will never happen. Someone needs to give me 2 tight slaps and pour one bucket of cold water onto my face in order for me to wake up. Please say “Phui San, is wake up time. Stop dreaming.”

I think the best person to do this is my darling cousin sister Yvonne. I have been thinking of what you told me the other day and I think you are right. Yvonne, I am going to do the same thing “Give each other a hug and let go”. You will have the honor to wake me up.
